About us
I am living in Porvoo with my family and my dogs, which are family members and working companions. I have been crazy about dogs for all my life and there has been dogs in my family as long as I can remember, from the poodle to the rottweiler. I started to breed rottweilers in 1991. I got the kennel name Banietta´s in 1992 and I raised two rottweiler litters that time.
Later on I changed to retrievers. In 2001 we bought our first toller from kennel Hingstbackes. I felt in love with that breed. At the moment we have one golden retriever and three tollers at home.
For me breeding has to be a combination of many different parts: the dog has to be healthy, it should be a dog sport companion and it has to be in the breed standard. Character is a very important factor and also the retriever should have good, natural retrieving abilities.
Puppies are growing within the family in our house. We show them game already in the puppy box. The puppies are ready to move in their new homes at an age of 7-8 weeks. At that point they are de-wormed, examined by a veterinarian, micro chipped and registered in the Finnish Kennel Club.
